“10 Best Wildlife Travel Adventures”

Stephanie Henkel of Global Animal wrote a beautiful article about the 10 Best wildlife Travel Adventures in the world. They try to help travelers plan the perfect animal adventure where close encounters with incredible creatures is almost guaranteed!

Belize tops the list; this is what global animal says about our small country.
Located on the northeastern coast of Central America, Belize is brimming with unique and exciting wildlife. There are approximately 145 species of mammals, 139 species of reptiles and amphibians, and over 500 species of birds that call the Latin American country home. Belize contains remarkable protected parks and coastal cays abundant with indigenous wildlife… "

Unfortunately, Wildlife, in the wild, is very difficult to see in Central America.  The odd chance that a visitor will see wildlife out in the wild is a spectacular and unexpected treat.
 
The Belize Zoo is an incredible place to experience Belize’s wildlife, with all animals originally brought to the zoo as injured and unable to return to the wilds. Sharon Matola, zoo curator/ wildlife educator, provides one of the finest wildlife experiences in Belize.

Ian Anderson's Caves Branch Jungle Lodge is centered on our 50,000 acre private reserve and if there is a chance to see wildlife, it will be at Caves Branch as wildlife abounds all around us… but seeing it isn't always easy.
