You probably have seen our information about the location of where we are and the choices that you have to get here. This time we will be talking about the private transfers done by Ian Anderson Caves Branch as well as public transportation.

Caves Branch

What must you do in order to make arrangements for a private transfer?

If you would like to make a reservation here with us, you can call us using our toll free number- 1-800-357-2698 or our local (in Belize) numbers: 501-610-3451 or 501-610-3452 to make your arrangements.  You can also choose to send us an email at this address: Once this is done, a member of our staff will respond accordingly.

How much does it cost to go from the International Airport to Caves Branch?

There is only one international airport in Belize - The Philip Goldson International Airport. The cost of the transfer from the international airport to Ian Anderson Caves Branch is $65US per person + 12.5% tax. Possible discounts can be discussed with your booking agent however, this will depend especially if there are children in your group.

Traveling from the airport to Ian Anderson Caves Branch will take approximately one hour and a half (1.5 hrs) with a private transfer. Apart from requesting a private transfer from CB, you can rent your own vehicle or even travel by public transportation.

If you want to use public transportation then you will need to take a bus.

This can be done by taking a taxi (which cost about $25 US) from the airport to the bus station in Belize City.  At the bus station you need to catch a bus to Belmopan (this can cost about 2 to 3 USD).  When at the Belmopan bus station then take the bus to Dangriga.  About 20 minutes from Belmopan you will need to stop off at the Caves Branch sign (on your left) which is at Mile 41.5 on the Hummingbird Highway. After you get to the sign you will need to walk in approximately 1km which roughly takes about 15 minutes before you are at Ian Anderson’s Caves Branch Adventure Co. & Jungle Lodge.

So, there you have it… Good Luck finding us!
