Flights to Belize

Once a remote country difficult to get to without multiple flights and lengthy layovers, it's now easier than ever to find a non-stop flight to Belize.


Southwest, the biggest low-cost airline in the United States, has now expanded to offer non-stop flights to Belize from three cities: Houston (HOU), Denver (DIA), and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (FLL). And the other Big Three airlines, Delta, United, and American Airlines, offer non-stop flights to Belize as well.

Canadians too, are now benefitting from new entries into the red hot Belize travel market after Air Canada, the biggest airline in the country, announced that it will begin flying non-stop from Toronto (YYZ) to Belize City (BZE) beginning in December 2017. Air Canada will join low-cost airliner WestJet in giving Canadians more options for vacationing and retiring in Belize.

Flying time from the North America to Belize ranges from around two hours to five hours.

All international flights to Belize land at the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE). Although it is described as being in Belize City, it is technically located nine miles north of the city in the town of Ladyville.

Belize has two domestic air carriers, Tropic Air and Maya Island Air. Both airlines have multiple connections to airports inside Belize, including several offshore islands.
