Ian Anderson’s Caves Branch Jungle Lodge awarded 2018 Certificate of Excellence

Ian Anderson’s Caves Branch Jungle Lodge is proud to announce that they have just been awarded a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor. First established in 2011, TripAdvisor’s Certificates of Excellence are awarded to hospitality businesses that consistently provide great service and have consistently been rated positively by the members of TripAdvisor. Less than 10% of the hospitality businesses on TripAdvisor are deemed meritorious of receiving the Certificate of Excellence, and all winners will show a Certificate of Excellence badge on their TripAdvisor page.

In 2018, Caves Branch Jungle Lodge is celebrating its 25th anniversary of operation. Founded by Ian Anderson, a Canadian who became entranced by the beauty and wonder of nature in Belize, Caves Branch is the premier jungle lodge in Belize. Caves Branch offers guests the opportunity to stay in luxury two-story treehouses as well as lovely suites, cabanas, and bungalows.
Caves Branch has also consistently dedicated a portion of its profits to improving the health of nature in Belize as well as local students. The Lodge is home to the country’s largest botanical garden which are used by conservation scientists. Caves Branch also participates in the Pack for a Purpose program which encouraging incoming guests to include much-needed school supplies in their luggage in order to help improve the educational attainment of at-risk young people in Belize.
Ian Anderson’s Caves Branch Lodge specializes in guided adventures on both the offshore reef and the jungles and rainforests of the mainland. Founder Ian Anderson was instrumental in developing safety protocols for the uniquely Belizean activity of cave tubing (using an inner tube to navigate underwater rivers), and the lodge specializes in guided adventures like birdwatching, rappelling, climbing ancient Maya ruins, nighttime hikes, and overnight bushcraft expeditions.
