Groups have included High School and College groups as well as archaeology & scientific research groups, photography workshops and even groups who focus on community service.
Inspire EdVentures is a multifaceted educational company that was founded on the principle of providing outstanding educational experiences for a wide diversity of audiences. Inspire EdVentures has been leading educational based groups to Belize for over 12 years. Group demographics have included traditional study abroad courses as well as educational based adult learners.
Inspire EdVentures supports the learning process of their groups by hosting an online portal that features science based educational materials that provide the foundation for a more meaningful travel experience. Recent trips to Belize have focused on studying the jaguar population in central Belize, water quality of the Sibun River and how the invasive lionfish is impacting the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef.
In a recent email sent to Caves Branch Lodge in Belize, Inspired EdVentures thanked the Lodge for its participation and support. Caves Branch Lodge is now a registered partner of Inspired EdVentures and is working to become a future destination for Inspired EdVentures' hands-on research trips.
Caves Branch, located in the heart of central Belize's jungle region, is one of the most eco-diverse areas of the country. Home to a wide variety of wildlife, the area around Caves Branch Lodge contains many different micro-environments, including caves, rivers, waterfalls, and rainforests. As such, the area is an excellent place for students to study and learn more about jungle and rainforest plants, insects, and animals. Furthermore, the largest botanical gardens in Belize are found at the Caves Branch Lodge, another great resource for environmental science students.
The Lodge is one of just four partners working with Inspire EdVentures in Belize. Since its founding, Caves Branch has worked with local organizations to promote, preserve, and protect the wild beauty of mainland Belize. Caves Branch regularly conducts organized tours of the surrounding jungle, including night-time excursions, in order to introduce foreign visitors and locals alike to the vast cornucopia of plants and animals that call the jungle home.
