Caves Branch Jungle Lodge, as part of its commitment to the 'Pack for a Purpose' initiative in Belize, recently made a donation of school supplies to the Armenia government school in the Cayo district in western Belize. The donation of supplies was delivered on April 9th and included an assortment of books and art supplies.

Pack for a Purpose works with a network of organizations and companies in more than 60 countries around the world. More than 200,000 pounds of supplies have been donated since the organization was founded in 2009. The organization strives to help improve the education, health, and welfare of children in developing countries.
In Belize, Pack for a Purpose works with more than two dozen companies, organizations, and travel firms to help provide much-needed educational materials, art supplies, and sports equipment for at-risk youth. Pack for a Purpose also helps coordinate the supply of medical supplies to villages across the country. The organization was founded by Rebecca Rothney and is made up entirely of volunteers. Its mission is to help travelers positively impact the communities they visit.
